Never Ask "What Should I Wear?" Again
The average person spends 15-20 minutes deciding what to wear each morning. Over a year, that's nearly a full week of your life spent staring at your closet. FitInView's daily outfit suggestions aim to eliminate that decision fatigue entirely.
How Daily Suggestions Work
Each morning, FitInView analyzes several factors to generate outfit suggestions:
- Your wardrobe — what items are available and clean
- Today's weather — temperature, precipitation, wind, UV index for your location
- Your calendar — if you have meetings, events, or activities that imply a dress code
- Wear history — what you wore recently (to avoid repetition) and what you haven't worn in a while (to rediscover forgotten items)
- Your style preferences — learned from your Style DNA profile and past choices
The result is 2-3 outfit suggestions tailored to your day. Each suggestion includes a flat-lay preview and a one-tap try-on button so you can see it on yourself before deciding.
The Shuffle Button
Not feeling any of the suggestions? Hit shuffle and the AI generates a fresh set. The shuffle considers your rejection as implicit feedback — it won't repeat the same direction. If you shuffle past three sporty suggestions, the next set will lean dressier.
Weather Awareness
FitInView checks your local weather automatically. On a rainy 10°C morning, it won't suggest linen shorts. On a hot summer day, it won't propose your wool blazer. This sounds obvious, but most wardrobe apps either ignore weather entirely or handle it with crude rules ("below 15°C = jacket").
FitInView's weather integration is more nuanced: it considers wind chill, precipitation probability, and temperature changes throughout the day (important if your morning commute is cold but your afternoon meeting is indoors).
Calendar Integration
Connect your calendar and FitInView factors in your schedule. A 'Board Meeting' event shifts suggestions toward business attire. A 'Gym' block means the AI knows you'll need to change mid-day and can suggest an outfit that transitions. A 'Date Night' automatically triggers occasion-appropriate recommendations.
Rediscovering Your Wardrobe
One of the most useful side effects: daily suggestions surface items you've forgotten about. That green cardigan buried in the back of your closet? The suede boots you haven't worn since last fall? The AI actively rotates underused items into suggestions, so your entire wardrobe gets wear instead of just the top 20%.
Building the Habit
The feature works best when it becomes your morning routine. Open the app, see today's suggestions, pick one (or shuffle), and you're dressed. Most users report that within a week, the suggestions align well enough with their taste that the morning decision is reduced from 15 minutes to 30 seconds.
